MORE PROJECTS ...

This time these are projects/swaps from my meeting with my up-line, the Gorjuss Charmaine. The first pictures are the project that we made at the meeting using the big flower in 'Fifth Avenue Floral' and watercolouring it using the aqua painter. This makes a very cute and different card and I'll probably include it in a class sometime in the future - thanks Char! The other cards are the swaps that we made - the cute deer and bunny card is using 'Forest Friends' (Spring Mini catalogue) and is by Sam - her first swap and a fantastic start! Mine and Char's both used the Great Friends set (also from the mini) - Char's uses the new paper from the Mini, 'Walk in the Park' paper and mine is the orange and green card using the Kiwi Kiss paper from Urban Oasis paper set. RECENT PROJECTS

Hi - I've been accumulating projects recently, so I thought I'd put them all together in one post. I aim to update my blog at least weekly so that it doesn't take me soooo long to get everything on here in future! Included in this lot are projects made to sell at our Stampin'Up market stall (we're at the Kalamunda markets next Saturday so look for us if you are up there!), plus some invitation projects that me and Sam have been working on (we can supply custom made invitations and accessories for weddings, anniversaries, baby showers, birthdays - anything really!). If you have any questions on this you can send me an email through here and I'll pass your details onto Sam - Sam is in the process of setting up her own blog and once done I'll include her link on here. There are lots of other projects here, just random things made for the fun of it! Lots of owls as I just love the 'Owl Together Now' set from the main catalogue (I got a bit carried away!) but if you have any questions on the stamps used on other projects, just give me a shout. BUSY MARKET WEEKEND

Here's a couple of photos of me, Charmaine and Sam from this weekend's market stall at the Mundaring Truffle Festival (you can just about make out the 3 of us behind the tables in the 2nd picture - I'll have to sack the photographer ... sorry Lee!) This was our first venture out into the market world, and we had a ball. We really threw ourselves into the deep end with our first market being a busy 2 day event, so anything else will be a breeze! We hope to return to the Mundaring markets in a couple of months and plan to make regular appearances at the Kalamunda and Roleystone markets as well.

Hi and welcome to my new blog.

I am excited to announce that the new 2009/2010 Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalogue will be released on 1st April and I was thrilled to get my grubby hands on a copy yesterday, and have been drooling over it ever since (very sad I know)!

The new catalogue has seen a sad farewell to many much loved sets and all the patterned papers, but you can still buy any outgoing products, while stocks last, until 31st March - see link to retired list on left hand side.

By losing so many stamp sets and papers, we are gaining the introduction of a fantastic new range, which has brought us pretty much in line with our friends in the U.S. - Stampin' Up! has been such an enormous success here in Australia that it took the U.S. founders by surprise, but they have listened and are now making most of the new releases available here at the same time as they get them over there, which is very exciting!

To celebrate this new release, I will be holding a couple of free 'open houses' so that you can be one of the first to see the new catalogue with all the yummy new products in. You will also be able to make a quick project incorporating one of the new stamp sets, new patterned paper ranges and the new 'in-colour' papers and inks.

These will be very informal get-togethers, with tea, coffee and cake provided and everyone attending will also get the chance to win a stamp set valued at over $40.

These will be at my home in Parkerville, so please call for details - you will find my details below or in the link on the left hand side of the blog.

I will be doing a quick introductory presentation at 10.30am and 12.30pm both days, so it would be best if you could coincide your visits with one of these times, but if that's not possible you are still more than welcome to come along at any time between 10 and 2.

If you can't make it on one of these days but would like to arrange an informal one-on-one get together or a party, please give me a call and we can arrange something separately.

Hi - this slideshow of scrap pages were all done before I joined SU but I wanted to share anyway. They are slightly distorted as I had to make the images rectangular instead of square, as the slideshow was cutting the tops of when square! Will have lots of SU pages once I get all the papers from the new cattie!

I offer independent classes for both scrapbooking and cardmaking and can tailor classes to your requirements. The price for an average 2.5 hour class is $25 including materials per person, but this may change depending on specific requirements.

I'm also happy to do children's parties/classes for ages 8 upwards so let me know if you want more information. The price would be $15 per child.

I hope you enjoy looking at some of my creations. Most projects have been inspired in some way or another by things I've seen either on Split Coast Stampers or the SU Idea Book & Catalogue, both of which are fantastic resources for ideas. I can't remember specific sources but please feel free to let me know if you see one of your projects so that I can acknowledge your work. One specific project on this slideshow is a stationery holder which I produced at a meeting with my up-line Char, which in turn came from her up-line Makeesha - both are very talented ladies and I thank you both for your wonderful inspiration.

Hi - I'm an independent Stampin' Up Demonstrator based in the lovely Perth Hills. I've been married to Lee for 16 years and we have 2 beautiful girls,Lauren and Mia, 3 dogs and 3 cats. We moved to Perth from England 6 years ago in search of sunshine and a good life, and we've certainly found it! We spent the 1st 5.5 years in Mindarie and then recently gave ourselves a tree change and moved up into the Hills, and we feel blessed to live in such a beautiful part of the world. I discovered stamping and scrapbooking around 5 years ago and it quickly turned into an addiction! I opened a retail shop in East Perth soon afterwards which was a great experience (and a fantastic way to feed my habit!) but the business grew so much that it didn't give me any time for my family or our main uniform business, plus I never actually had any time to scrap or stamp, so I decided to give it up last year. Stampin' Up! has given me the opportunity to rediscover my passion of sharing the joy of creating cards, gifts and family heirlooms, without the additional pressures of running a business. I am now ready to get out there and host parties, classes and get togethers and have some fun!

The next class is scheduled for Wednesday 16th September 7-10pm at my house in Parkerville. There will be 3 projects, this 3D picture frame using the gorgeous Walk in the Park DSP and Great Friend stamp set, the fun Choo Choo card and a 3rd project that Sam is putting together which is an exploding box/card (photo coming soon). The cost is $20 which includes all materials - please let me know if you'd like to come along as space is limited. Thank you. This will be a monthly class and will always include a card technique, a 3-D item and an 'off-the-page' item.
